An art space is generally speaking a large area with works of art positioned throughout. Visitors to an art space won't usually move around it in the same way that your guests will, so give thought in advance to how you might change the positioning of the artworks so that your guests won't come into contact with them. Damaged works of art can cost a pretty penny! Discuss the rules for interacting with the artworks with the venue owner, as well as the policy for paying for any possible damage to them. The most expensive or fragile pieces are best removed from the hall, or at least cordoned off with a ribbon.
Standard equipment for holding a presentation includes a projector, a screen, and a microphone. These are provided at the venues, either for free or for an additional fee. See the Additional Services section. Conference halls and fitness areas could make good venues for an event of this kind.
